Join the Community for the Goodwill Weigh Good Donation Drive

Our goal with Central Texas’ Weigh Good donation drive is to collect 725,000 pounds of donated goods which translates to Goodwill placing 42 individuals in competitive employment. In harsh economic times, many people are having trouble finding employment, especially those with barriers. This community-powered four day campaign directly serves the Goodwill mission with the funds generated from selling the donated goods in our retail stores. These funds translate into job training and search assistance, case management and youth service programs, such as school-to-work transition and GED training.

Goodwill reworks your donations and reduces waste, so Weigh Good is a perfect opportunity to get together with your neighbors, friends and co-workers and turn your spring cleaning into an environmentally friendly, community effort. Goodwill accepts any gently used clothing and computers. Boats, cars, and trucks are also accepted with free towing for all vehicles! Also, Goodwill will give out some great prizes to those who drop off donations.
