Go camping and it is cold sometimes but what you will find is you have the entire camp sites to yourself along with it being like camping in Colorado and the campfire is great along with the food tasting as usual better then anything you can find indoors

Go fishing and you will find you are the only one out there fishing which makes your chances of catching a lot of fish swimming around wondering where all those worms that use to be floating around that area went LOL

Take a road trip and do some sightseeing and you will find everyone else is at home and you have every single road side picnic area all to yourself along with any other place you stop at such as motels or hotels which usually have discounted rates that time of year

Take a trip down to the 360 bridge over lake Austin and if it is cold enough you will see how the water that seeps out of the shale on the sides of those cliffs turns into a giant ice wall full of neat ice stalactites of which not many people around Austin ever see on a freezing cold day such as that because they stay home to watch TV instead
