Truthfully- not a fan. Do we seriously need another cookie cutter blonde country singer? She's definitely cute- she has the image part DOWN, but she's not unique. Not yet, at least, but I'd rather see the votes go to singers who have the potential to change the pop landscape a little- and Lil Rounds is clearly the one to beat this time around.

As I was watching, my skeptical side kept creeping up. We all know that on many levels, reality shows are "staged" to some extent for the purposes of keeping things exciting, ratings, etc. What I'm starting to think is that the judges WANT certain folks GONE, and they want others to have almost 100% chance of getting through to the next round, so to ensure that they get what they want, they have "rigged" it to some extent by putting those people in certain groups. For example, Tatiana has a decent voice, but she is just plain crazy and annoying. In yesterday's group, she may have had a chance to go through, but in the group she was actually in (the first group with TONS of talent) she had a much lower chance of getting through---- which is exactly what I think they wanted to have happen, and lo and behold, she didn't make it. You can laugh at me and tell me that this isn't a news flash, but I never really thought about it until now.
