On February 15, 1939, Virgina and Alfred Nemecek got married in West, Texas.  SEVENTY years later they are still alive and still married.  I had the chance to sit down with this couple and talk with them about their lives, their six kids and their very long marriage.  As I am about to get married myself, I had to ask, what is the secret?  They both say the secret is to give and take in the relationship, and don't focus too much on money or material things.  Very good advice.  It was amazing seeing two people who have been together that long, I mean, imagine being with someone for more than 70 years.  Imagine how well you would know them, know everything about them, and still love them.  That is why people get married, to be together until the end.  I wish the Nemeceks years more together.  I'd love to see them at their 75th.
