60 Minutes Got It Wrong

Despite the headline story: Madoff, Largest Ponzi Scheme, 60 minutes got it completely wrong.  The largest, and by far most extensive and pervasive Ponzi scheme is known as Social Security.  By any definition of a Ponzi scheme, social security fits.  Money is paid in that is used to pay off others...Ponzi/Social Security.  Money is paid in and stolen for other things...Ponzi/Social Security.  Belief in the "deal" keeps it going...Ponzi/Social Security.  It has to be continually "sold" to the users to convince them it is worthwhile...Ponzi/Social Security.  So...the largest, and longest running, Ponzi scheme is actually the brainchild of Congress.  And we think they can fix our economy?  Not me.

  • Your sure right about that and it will not be long before that ponzi scheme fails also.

    Will anyone be arrested or charged with all the criminal activities associated with the social security ponzi scheme?

    No because liberal democrat politicians are never held responsible for any crimes they commit including murder for as long as they have the courts paid off with bribes of money taken right out of the social security trust funds..
